RESUME

I was once told that the size of your questions directly correlates to the size of your growth. With Mathematics and Computer Science, I am free to ask big questions and to explore their answers. I hope to explore big questions for the rest of my life, and I hope to bring about positive change in the way that these questions are answered.

  • Implemented multiple architecutres of a generative adversarial model for fair representations of data on both tabular datasets and image datasets as a part of the AI/ML Accelerator.

GRADUATE ASSISTANT AT VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY

August 2020 - current

  • Held office hours, graded assignments, and occasionally lectured for undergraduate classes including Applied Machine Learning, Analysis of Algorithms, and Data Structures courses.

GIRLS IN STEM AND SPORT PROJECT DEVELOPER

  • Led the development of a program designed to encourage young girls in computer science, statistics, and sports fields

  • Built lesson plans and coordinated partnerships with top nonprofits that work in this area

  • Lectured in four classes (3 Linear Algebra, 1 Multivariate Calculus) when professors were out of town.

Summer 2019

  • Investigated specific methods of debiasing machine learning algorithms

  • Read numerous technical computer science papers

HONORS RESEARCH THESIS IN MATHEMATICS

August 2019-May 2020

  • Prepared a research proposal, and was one of two students selected to write an honors thesis;

  • Dedicated 18 months to developing, implementing, and successfully defending a research project on advanced mathematical concepts

  • Wrote code in python to assist this research
